The Siurell and the Sea People

siurell3

Siurell mallorquín. Wiki.
The Mallorcan siurell is a clay figure with a terraced whistle. Figures with similar shapes have been found in other Mediterranean islands (Ibiza, Crete or Sardinia).

I am going to expose you something really curious. I mean the siurells (traduction) and its possible origin. In the Balearic Islands anything that is unknown its origin is said to come from the age of the Moors (between the 10th and 13th centuries, in Majorca). However the siurells, it is shown that they predate them, the Moors.
But according to Catalanism, all the Balearic Islands were depopulated and repopulated with Catalan peasants from Emporda coast, that brought us the salty talk and the "glorious Catalan culture", right? In this case, how did they survive? How come they are still present in the Balearic culture?

THE SEA PEOPLES
The sea peoples they were a series of tribes, some of which came from the Western Mediterranean, which in the 13th century BC, in the time of Ramses III, pharaoh of Egypt, brought down the Hittite Empire and the Mycenaean civilization, and they were about to end the Egyptian civilization.

Among these peoples we are interested in those who came from Sardinia, the Sherden. They are depicted in Egyptian hieroglyphs with a horned helmet and a disc

On the island of Sardinia, a large number of bronze statuettes have been found that are very reminiscent of the warriors represented in the Egyptian hieroglyphs. Horned helmet, round shield and long swords. In some figures, a poorly defined promontory can be guessed between the horns of the helmet. Perhaps they were carrying in that place a disk as can be seen in the hieroglyphics, and that could have been lost after so many centuries buried?

These figures belong to the nuragic culture of Sardinia. The relationship between the nuragic culture and the Balearic talayotic culture is more than evident, as we have already pointed in Balearic Islands and Sardinia: Much more than coincidences.

The relationship between the Talayotic culture and the Nuragic culture can be appreciated, among other things, in the similarity of their architecture..
Here you have an interesting article (traduction) from the newspaper El Mundo on this matter, enjoy it.

And now look at a detail. Among the classic siurells there is a figure representing a demon. Sometimes it is represented with three horns although the usual thing is to see them with two horns and a disc in the middle. What a coincidence, don't you think?
Can these figures and the Sherden have any relation? Could the Balearics have been invaded by the Sherden, or perhaps the Balearics were part of these warriors who were about to end the Egyptian Empire?

Many other bronze figures with helmets have been found in Sardinia, and those that predominate are these three types of helmets. That "curiously" coincide with these siurells. This in my opinion is much more than coincidences or imaginative delusions. But this is something that, evaluating the arguments and the images, you must decide.
